I was always torn between my curiosity about the magic of the processes that enable life, and my love for the visual arts. But it was only in the first year of my PhD studies that I found out about a profession that combines these two passions.
I knew I would need training to make it a career, which is why I decided to pursue the University of Toronto’s MSc in Biomedical Communications, one of the best programs of its kind in the world.
As a scientist, I am familiar with the hurdles of research, so I know how exciting it can be to finally publish your findings. My academic background provides me with thorough understanding of the science, which is key to delivering content accurately and fully. And thanks to the excellent training I received in the MSc in Biomedical Communications program - I can create illustrations and animations that compellingly convey the essence of your research.
